They´re very cute, obviously, but they can be very naughty indeed. These little racoon-like creatures are called coatis and they hang out at the Iguaccu falls. Much like South American thieves, they target unsuspecting tourists, tearing through their bags for morsels of food. We didn´t have any edibles for them, so they soon lost interest, and taking a half decent photo was a proper mission (unlike with our diva butterfly).
